A New porch on the Farquhar Family Home

The latest photos of the Robert Farquhar family home were taken in November of 2014.

Once the porch was restored the home now resembles the original homestead.

 Another photo was discovered of Farquhar home front among my Grandmother old photo's. She was very good for the most part about labeling photos thank heaven. As we drove toward the location of the farm. we found the street Redstone Church Rd.
And knew we were headed in the right direction.

Life At the Farquhar Family Home

Looking at this photo's captures a bit of family life for me. I asked Peggy Farquhar, the Farquhar family specialist who the women standing on the porch was. She identified her as Mary Belle Ernest Farquhar, who was a very hard working women. And there she is hanging her  clean laundry outside to dry in the mist of a snow storm. Sure made me thankful once again for a good electric washer and dryer. Still hoping to identify the people in this picture.
